The Vicon Duct Line Express is the foundation of Vicon's coil line automation platform, providing HVAC fabricators with a highly efficient solution for producing beaded, notched, and sheared duct blanks. Designed as the true front-end of the Vicon Full Coil Line, the Duct Line Express delivers automated coil feeding, straightening, beading, notching, and shearing in a compact, production-focused system.

Featuring Vicon's patented quick-change coil spool technology, individual hydraulic coil drive motors, and heavy-duty material handling components, the Duct Line Express helps reduce setup time, improve material flow, and increase overall shop productivity. The modular design allows fabricators to start with a high-performance duct blanking system and expand into a complete Full Coil Line as production requirements grow.

  • Dual Hydraulic Shear – High-carbon, high-chrome D-2 shear blades with independently adjustable blade gaps and a heavy-duty torsion synchronization shaft for precise, consistent shearing.
  • Vicon PC-Based Control System – Controls the complete Duct Line Express from a single operator interface.
  • SMACNA Ring-Type Beading – Produces consistent beading with standard SMACNA spacing.
  • Hands-Free Coil Feed – Automates material feeding to improve efficiency and reduce operator involvement.

Options

  • Heavy-Duty Coil Processing – 4.5" six-roll straightener with 14-gauge mild steel notching and shearing capability.
  • Tie Rod Hole Punch Unit – Model HP-5 produces tie rod and damper holes to SMACNA standards or your own custom standards.
  • Integrated Plasma Cutting Unit – Cuts round, oval, and rectangular openings for tap-ins and access doors anywhere on the duct blank. (U.S. Patents #9,393,638 & #9,731,376).
  • Patented Heavy-Duty Shearing – Vicon's patented shearing process delivers accurate, consistent cuts. (U.S. Patent #9,981,399 B2).
  • 30" Wide Coil Processing – Processes transverse duct flange (T25a & T25b) profiles on a standard 60" coil width system.
  • Heavy-Duty In-Line Slitting – Multiple slit configurations available for greater production flexibility.
  • Overfed Coil Cradle System – Economical overfed coil cradle option provides a smaller overall machine footprint.
