The Vicon Coil Feed System is designed to maximize material utilization, reduce labor costs, and streamline production for HVAC fabrication operations. By automatically uncoiling, straightening, beading, and feeding material directly into plasma or laser cutting systems, the Coil Feed System eliminates time-consuming manual handling while increasing overall shop productivity.
Engineered for high-volume production environments, the system is capable of handling up to six coil cradles and processing materials from 16 to 28-gauge mild steel. Hydraulic coil drives provide smooth acceleration and deceleration while utilizing auto coil reversal rewind technology to ensure reliable material control throughout the feeding process.
A powered infeed guide ramp and pneumatic backup wheels provide safe, hands-free coil loading and positive material feeding, reducing operator involvement while improving workplace safety. Available in underfed or overfed configurations, the system can be customized to meet shop layout requirements while supporting coil capacities up to 12,000 pounds.
