Patented Seam Closing Technology for HVAC Duct Fabrication

The Patented Vicon Pittsburgh Seam Closer is engineered to efficiently close and seal Pittsburgh seams on rectangular ductwork while reducing labor and improving production throughput. Designed for HVAC fabrication shops demanding speed, reliability, and consistent seam quality, the Vicon Pittsburgh Seam Closer delivers superior performance through its exclusive patented Single V forming roll technology.

Capable of processing 16 to 26-gauge galvanized steel duct sections from 12" to 60" in length, the machine closes Pittsburgh seams from either side of the duct. Unlike conventional seam closers, the patented Single V forming roll eliminates the need to flip duct sections to align the Pittsburgh edge with the forming wheels, significantly reducing handling time and increasing productivity.

Built with heavy-duty bearings, shafts, roller chain drives, and removable clamp pads for easy sealant cleanup, the Vicon Pittsburgh Seam Closer is designed for longterm durability in demanding production environments. Tool-free setup adjustments, manual or automatic push-button controls, and a counterbalanced top clamp head further simplify operation and maximize efficiency.
